Official freak-out day.
Did absolutely nothing besides cook, grocery shop, eat, watch movie after movie and somewhat re-organize my place.
and make 4 long to-do lists. All for the next week.
I’m already overwhelmed.
To be honest, I’m burnt out on school. I’m in a two-year program and I have 12 long months to go.
Also, I realize that lately, it’s getting harder and harder to stay focused. That’s exhausting.
I’m just a bit more ready to start working. But I want to finish what I started here as well.
Anyway, tomorrow, I’ve gotta dig deep into my small savings to invest in a Mac. Why? Because supposedly, it will save my life.
Another PC has failed me and I’ve been a secret Mac worshiper for a long time so I might as well take the plunge. Right.
And to top it off: I light it up a few cigs.
That wasn’t supposed to happen. I was trying to quit. I have to quit. This isn’t even me. It was supposed to be but I wanted it at the time too. “Oh, this is just a casual drink”…”helps take the edge off..
So yup, that’s right people. I’m a burnet-out graduate student, slowly losing focus in life and trying to quit a secret habit of cigarette chain smoking during the school year.
My parents will be so disappointed if they ever find out.
I hope they forgive me. I hope they know that it was rough at some point, and I was stupid. But they taught me well, I finally learned. Slowly but I was trying.
Sorry, that last sentence was written with the track “Bittersweet Symphony” by the Verve was playing. Hope that makes sense.
Ok, off to smoke another two cigs and then try to get some sleep.
I have this whole productive day planned tomorrow.
Like I said.
Already failing.
The last entry will be shorter.
fml.

Oh, and I’m new to LA.

It’s going to get a little crazy.
